Welcome to 2010, everyone! Thanks for making our first year a great one. We’ve got immense plans for this year, but first, let’s take a moment to reflect on the most popular posts of 2009.
10. Photo Gallery (44 views) – The only photos in the ol’ gallery so far are from the Borderlands Extravasplosion that we had the honor of attending, but more will find their way to this page eventually!
9. Starcraft II Pushed to Q1 2010 (45 views) – The name says it all. Expected disappointment is still disappointing.
8. Epic Mickey – Disney Does Steampunk? (47 views) – Still a shocking move by Disney. I’m excited for the game’s release, but that’s mainly because I want to see how well it does. As a player, Wii exclusives don’t really do anything for me.
7. TAGJ Staff (50 views) – It’s nice to know that people care who we are. We’re doing this for the common good, after all!
6. Mass Effect (53 views) – And to think, I’m planning on playing the next one. I keep giving Bioware second chances.
5. PREVIEW, PART I: Aion: The Tower of Eternity (56 views) – Beta impressions can carry you pretty far in game journalism, it seems. As one of our very early posts, we hadn’t really decided on naming conventions for reviews and previews and all that. The caps lock at the beginning really bothers me now. Oh well.
4. Preliminary Thoughts on Borderlands (109 views) – Huzzah for triple digits! Borderlands rocks my world. We’ve provided more coverage for that game than any other to date, and I can’t say I’m unhappy with that. Not the best game of 2009, but it’s one that means something for gaming.
3. Review: Castle Crashers (OriginOfBob) (262 views) – Man, Castle Crashers. What a game! I’ve got some incredibly fond memories of playing this one with friends, and it was a fun review to write as well! Smiles all around! This is where we finally settled on our review naming convention, as well.
2. Review: American McGee’s Alice (795 views) – This post’s popularity still baffles us. On days when nothing else was viewed at all, for the longest time Mr. Wirefly’s Alice review still got 30 or so hits. Mysterious success is still success, though! It’s done wonders for our collective self-esteem.
1. Our Dinner With the Guardian Angel (883 views) – Our most popular post is also our one exclusive! Thanks to 2KarMac&Cheese, we ended up having our most splendid career evening to date! Excellent food, excellent conversation, and and excellent view count! Who could ask for more?
Again, thanks a million to everyone who’s visited the site this past year. We’re still a no-name journal struggling to get by in the vast sea of information known as the internet, but now that we have more time to devote to the site, I think we have a bright future. Stay tuned for updates! Leave some comments!

I like the “Huzzah” in number 4 =D
