The Wii has been out for quite sometime, but one of Nintendo’s “big 3″ (the Metroid, Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchises) has yet to surface with an exclusive title. So, are we going to see a Zelda game exclusively for the Wii anytime soon? No, but rest assured, they’re working on it.
A recent article over at IndustryGamers.com states that a new Legend of Zelda title is indeed coming to Wii sometime in the future. Yeah, the Wii already has Twilight Princess, but not only was that supposed to be one of the last GameCube titles, but the Wii version is also backwards. So, when are we going to see our green-clad elf make his long overdue return to console? Well, it’s like this: An official release hasn’t been announced; not even which quarter or year for that matter. One thing’s definitely for certain, “the Zelda title for Wii is going to come out when it’s perfect.” (Reggie Fils-Aime, President of Nintendo of America)

TLOZ was the main reason why i bought a wii. Thank god i never got a gamecube, or i would’ve been upset replaying TP.
Well, it had better be perfect, imo… they are taking a while =D.
And, for the record, TP on Game Cube is better than on Wii =D
Well good or bad, now or later I will always play it.
And I agree that TP is better for the GC. After all that is the console it was made for.
