John Krajewski and Martin Farren, project lead and tech director (respectively) for upcoming indie game Vessel, recently did a very insightful interview with Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Vessel is being made by Strange Loop Games, a very new studio. The first blog post on their site was on January 5th, but judging by how Vessel looks so far, I hope they’re around for a long time to come!
Krajewski and Farren discuss Vessel‘s selection as a finalist in the 2010 Independent Games Festival, Strange Loop Games’ approach to game development, and the direction that indie gaming as a whole is moving. Check out the full interview here. You learn more about the other 2010 IGF finalists here. Vessel is also a finalist in G4′s Indie Game Challenge, and you can vote for it (or one of the other 11 games selected) over here.
Vessel has no set release date yet, but current plans are for both PC and console releases. Excitement!
So, what do you think? The mixture of liquid physics and Steampunk atmosphere make you smile, like it did to me? Tell us in the comments!
