Indiesplosion!: Episode IV

Hello again everyone! I hope my previous April Fool’s post did not make any of you too sad. Fear not I am staying with TAGJ for many years to come. Today I have three games which fit the April Fool’s theme: Gang Garrison 2, Legend of Princess, and fl0w.

Gang Garrison:

Developed by Faucet this game is only accessed by their game UI Smoke. There has been a recent knockoff of this game which claims to be 3D and with achievements and unlockable weapons but I have played it and it’s not much better. GG2 has revolutionary new maps to play at, one with two strongholds with a watering hole of some sort, but my favorite is the one with the dust valley. You have the choice of nine characters: The Runner (Fast and can Double Jump), The Firebug (unlimited flamethrower FTW), The Rocketman (can use rockets to Rocket Jump), The Overweight (slow but powerful with his minigun), The Detonator (his Sticky Bombs can stick to any surface and be exploded later), The Constructor (stationary sentries to protect your intel), The Rifleman (with the ability to zoom in his scope), and The Infiltrator (can turn invisible!). Online play is pretty balanced between the classes and really makes the game enjoyable (unlike that rip-off).

Legend of Princess:

Whoo! This game is fun. This game is my new favorite game, dethroning that lame Legend of Zelda! This game takes all the complicated parts out and fits everything into about a thirty minute game full of action and definitely no stolen material. You have the selection of three side weapons (Bow, Boomerang, and Mouse-like-bomb) and three jump aiders (Shothook, Feather, and the lovable Chicken). The fun part is finding out how to mix and match your side weapon and the jump item to achieve success. The game as some very ingenious bosses like the Dark Hero, and all of them are very challenging. Overall an amazing game!

fl0w:

This game is very peaceful. You float around devouring those who are weaker than you. It reminds me a lot of high school. Wait high school wasn’t peaceful…well you get what I meant. You start off small and grow to slowly take over your little pool of primordial ooze. You delve deeper as you get larger and find bigger badder creatures who want nothing more than to eat you! A very chill game if you want to check it out.

Here take these:
