Fantastic Deals on Valve Games Almost Gone

This weekend only: All Half-Life games are 66% off, and the Valve Complete Pack is 10% off.

Now, for those of you who don’t know me: I am a diehard Half-Life fan. (Before long, both Mr. Wirefly and myself will have bios of ourselves up on the site. This should help you guys identify with we, your enigmatic gaming databases.) For reasons I won’t even begin to go into right now, Valve is the undisputed king of single-player FPS games. If you have a PC, and for some reason don’t know what I’m talking about, go buy the first Half-Life right now.

It’s $3.39. Three dollars and thirty nine cents. You have no excuse. A burger from a fast food place would probably run you more than that, and a burger will only satiate you for a few hours. Half-Life is a life-changing experience.

Ahem. I’ll try not to go into fanboy mode. But seriously. If you can’t spare the money for the original Half-Life, then just get Half-Life 2: Deathmatch for something to do. It’s even cheaper. $1.69. How can you argue with that? You can’t. Go buy it. Then we’ll talk. But be quick! Tomorrow these deals will be gone!

For those who have played the Half-Life games, or at least a Valve shooter like Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead, what are your thoughts? Is Valve on top of the world? Are you pumped for Half-Life 2: Episode 3? Is the picture in this video legitimate? Tell us in the comments!

Oh, and Mr. Wirefly, about your last post: probably the best use of Requiem for a Dream ever. Haha.

With the sad fact that blizzard (one of my long standing pc favorite companies) is going to drop a new expansion for their newest title instead of staffing more than the janitor of blizzard on the starcraft 2/ diablo 3 projects i am noticing more and more that valve (another fantastic company) keeps delivering. again. and again. and again.
