Seems a little hard to believe on this end, seeing as how we finally got a taste of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger on console earlier this year, but yes, believe it or not, a sequel is already on the way.

While it hasn’t been out that long over here in the states, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger has been been racking up some cash for quite some time now in Japan. Earlier this week, Arc Systems Works announced that a sequel, “BlazBlue: Continuum Shift” will be released sometime in 2010. I would give you a link to the magazine article… but it’s in Japanese. As much as I’m looking forward to a new BlazBlue game, I’m still waiting for two other things: a brand-new Guilty Gear game, not a variation of X2, and some kind of Arc Systems crossover fighter. There are plenty of characters already, so why don’t I have my CAPCOM vs Arc Systems game already?!
