Bioshock 2 Has Widescreen Issue, Same as Bioshock 1

Well now. What do you know? Bioshock 2 has the exact same problem with widescreen that Bioshock 1 did. Oops?

According to this post on CVG, 2K Games’ community manager has assured people that a patch is on the way. Still, this seems like simple laziness. How would you not catch that in testing? How do you forget that your code is broken? I understand that accidents happen, but this seems a little too obvious. I still haven’t played Bioshock 2, but I’m running 1600 x 1200 so this problem doesn’t affect me.

What about you, though? Anyone out there using a widescreen monitor with some horror stories of trying to get things running in a supported resolution? I’ve been there; it can be pretty awful. Share your thoughts in the comments!

    Oh god.
It better not have the loading screen problem too…
Its the only reason I didnt play it in the first place until a few weeks ago.

I haven’t noticed a wide screen issue at all since the start, I get this article is a few days old, and there has been a windows live patch out a day or two ago.

My issue is accessing windows live while in game causes a lock up, and I’m not alone in this issue.
