12th IGF's Student Showcase Winners

Huzzah for indie games! The IGF Student Showcase had 190 entries this year, so it certainly must have been difficult selecting winners.

I’ve already had Igneous for quite some time, and couldn’t believe the intensity of it. Not to mention Continuity, a really engaging way to approach 2D platforming. The rest of the list, however, is completely new to me. I actually have Dreamside Maroon, Puddle, and Spectre all downloaded, waiting for me, so I can’t stay too long. I’ve got another post to do, indie games to play, and I bought Darksiders last night.

Both Continuity and Puzzle Bloom will play in your browser. Click those links!

Download these games, email the developers and let them know what a good job they’ve done, and then post in the comments here! Which one is your favorite?

Some videos to close the post out:

Oh, and does anyone else dig the insanely Contra-esque song in this Normal Tanks video?
